Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada has been the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in several television series. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her native country to the US and were granted refugee status to remain. Her sister in law was raised within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on the television scene with a few National Commercials. Ghanizada's appearance on the Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara earned her a nomination for the Best Actress award at one of the film festivals. The actress was an actor in a variety of television series, including How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Her most recent roles include an appearance as a character in Blood Shot, (2009) inspired by the science-fiction film Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada first appeared in General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. As Dr. Saira Bhata, an expert in holistic health care in the second season of Night Shift. Ghanizada appeared as Kelly as the Prada actress on HBO's Entourage.
