The motto "hands are in front of each other" is a crucial element of our routine however, it is evident that there is a growing faith and need to be face-to-face with people. Rotary's changed. We are in the summer of 2021 there is a lot of doubt regarding how Rotary will be able to provide the same human connection which Rotary members enjoyed in years in the past persists. It is not clear if the mantra "hands meet in front of each other" is expected to be one of the routines, but it's clear that there is a growing confidence and a determination to meet face-to-face. Rotary has changed. Rotary is a social network which fosters lasting friendships. Our methods have been refined to keep online meetings at the forefront of our businesses, while reintroducing events for service and social in a face-toface format. These new possibilities have been paired with what we learned from our previous pandemics to create a new outlook for Rotary. Recently an Rotary survey revealed that around 75% of people were planning business as usual activities. Watch this video 1. Our Rotary Support Center team is pleased to offer important resources to promote the success of these projects, and keeping the infrastructure in place to keep the public and members safe. Insurance and compliance play a vital role. It is our belief that Rotary volunteers form lasting relationships because of their mutual commitment of volunteering time.
